In a first for South Africa’s favourite comedian, Trevor Noah has hand-picked 5 young, yet-to-become-household-names for a nationwide group comedy tour to 7 of Tsogo Sun’s entertainment destinations.

The NationWILD Comedy Tour features Trevor Noah, who will host the show, together with Dillan Oliphant, Eugene Khoza, Dusty Rich, Loyiso Madinga (LoyMad) and Robby Collins at The Ridge in Witbank, Hemingways in East London, Golden Horse in Pietermaritzburg, Suncoast Casino, Hotels and Entertainment in Durban,Emnotweni in Nelspruit, Goldfields in Welkom, and Silverstar in Krugersdorp. JPO Concert Crisis Averted by Stellenbosch University Orchestra

Two concerts by legendary international violinist and now conductor, Pinchas Zukerman, and his wife, the pre-eminent South African born Canadian cellist Amanda Forsyth accompanied by the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra (JPO), scheduled for the Linder Auditorium later this month were placed in jeopardy as funds allocated to the JPO were not forthcoming.

The University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra (USSO) is performing with the Zukerman/Forsyth duo in Cape Town on 22 August and in Stellenbosch on 23 August. Members of this orchestra rallied around the JPO to the save the Linder concert dates by lending their kindness and support by playing in collaboration with 22 members of the JPO. The remarkable camaraderie and empathy shown by the USSO means that the concerts on the 27th August and 28th August at the Linder Auditorium will go ahead as planned. All proceeds of these 2 concerts will go to the JPO as a gesture of support for the orchestra and its members.

Thanks to the efforts of the USSO and friends of the JPO, Johannesburg audiences will have the opportunity to experience the musical genius of Pinchas Zukerman together with Amanda Forsyth. To avoid disappointment, book now at Computicket.
