Wining and Dining at Toadbury Hall

Situated in Muldersdrift nestled on the banks of the Crocodile River, is a quaint little place called Toadbury Hall where my sister plans to get married next year. We arrived for our scheduled food tasting and were greeted by dapper waiters ... and a power cut (compliments of Eskom)...

Despite this unforeseen situation, the venue used this power cut to their advantage and lit numerous candles throughout the dining area and passageways — setting the ambience to something reminiscent of a Hollywood Romance. The background music was pleasantly accompanied by the choir of frogs and toads and a string quartet of field crickets. Of course, being a 5-star restaurant, the food was Scrumptious and Ornately presented; my Favourites being the Smoked Springbok Carpaccio with Mango Chutney and the Chocolate Layered Cheesecake (which was exquisite!).

Go try it out ... Entice your Q-riosity!
