I recently came across Russian born Conceptual Underwater Photographer Elena Kalis. Below is a series of photographs titled “Alice in Waterland” - The magical series features Elena’s 12-year-old daughter as Alice.

Did you know that Alice in Wonderland was based on Lewis Carols neighbor, Alice Liddell?
Yep, I did ... But the story is wonderfully peculiar non-the-less :)
