Neo-Victorian

The November 2012 issue of Vogue Netherlands enlists Marc de Groot for a story inspired by Transylvania, Vampires and Victorian style starring cover girl Anna de Rijk ...

Taking the buttoned-up baroque look from the Belle Époque era of the Gilded Age, and mixing it with a touch of goth-erotica. Religious iconography and traditional accessories highlight the extreme differences between these genres, giving the ensembles a touch of the forbidden.

Fashion editor Marije Goekoop sets the stage for drama with the oversize silhouettes of Roberto CavalliElie Saab, Valentino and Alberta Ferretti amongst others.

With Hair and Make-up  created by Irena Ruben, while Anna's Manicure is done by Margot van Esses.

Anna De Rijk is undeniably irresistible in this Deliciously, Dark combination of Design Ideology, ranging from the prim past to the fashion-forward future.
