Bierfest

South Africa's biggest beer festival just got bigger! Last night was the opening night of the Bierfest at Montecasino, which is housed in a 4'000 seater Bavarian Brauhaus adorned with authentic décor from the Motherland...

A bevy of feisty frauleins deliver fistfuls of frothing bier and mouth watering Bavarian food to you and your friends at your own wooden bier bench.

The tubthumping tuba courtesy of the Oompah band will blow your blues away as you step up to test your strength and skill against an array of traditional Oktoberfest challenges!

Not being an avid Beer drinker, the festivities that occur around this jamboree are incredible and missing it would just be a sin. Besides, for those of you who don't drink Beer there is a selection of Wines, Ciders and Soft drinks that should keep you going through the night. I settled for a Beer called the Flying Fish which was flavoured with Lemon (Really Delicious, for all those ladies who don't quite fancy beer).

There are loads of competitions on offer during the festival including of course the best dressed King Ludwig and Princess Therese. Also, one should also be ready for the official sport of Bierfest: Beer Pong.

Convinced? Limited seating available so Book your tickets here!

Please note:
All purchases at Bierfest are made using "crowns". Crowns are available in denominations of R25 and purchased in packs of 5 (value R125). Crowns are NON-REFUNDABLE
