Arctic Explorer

It’s was a frosty-cold show at Vivienne Westwood Man, where the iconic designer presented her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection to audiences at Milan Men’s Fashion Week...

Dame Vivienne Westwood paid homage to David Attenborough's latest series 'Frozen Planet'. Her 'Cause Célèbre' is Global Warming, specifically the disappearance of the polar ice caps - a serious matter which translated into a particularly saleable collection for the designer.

North Pole-ready fur collar coats, quilted bombers, corduroy suiting and patchwork long johns were cosy staples for F/W 12. Other key items included oversize intarsia-knit cardigans, draped blanket coats and plaid suiting, which was rather conservative for Dame Vivienne (aside from the frozen-effect facial hair).

  2. This Rugged and Manly look in checked fabrics is really extravagant, but a young man in black Beanie, star decorated Sweeter, Jeans and bright blue Shoes looks, very much, like Mr Right!!! Can I have his number?!
