RIP Whitney Houston

I woke up this morning to find out the sad news that the Legendary pop singer, Whitney Houston, was found dead at a Beverly Hills, California Hotel. She was 48...
Undoubtedly, she was extremely talented. She ruled as Queen of Pop Music until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a stormy marriage to singer Bobby Brown.

For a decade and a half, she ruled the charts: 170 million albums sold, including seven back-to-back multi-platinum albums, Numerous No. 1 hits (including the biggest-selling U.S. single of all time, "I Will Always Love You"). Emmys, Grammys, Billboard Music awards She had Dozens of them.

Below, 2 of my Favourite Songs in commemoration of Whitney Houston:

How will I know?
Her first huge single, this MTV favourite became one of her top-grossing songs ever, spending two weeks at No. 1 and selling 400,000 copies!

I'll Always Love You
No doubt one of Whitney's most recognised hits. The song was first released in 1974 by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. Houston remade the song for her debut Movie appearance in The Bodygaurd. It not only won her a Grammy for Best Female Vocal, but also for Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
