Soups at Skoobs

With Winter being an extra bit Chilly this year, Skoobs Theatre of Books launched their Soups at Skoobs Promotion yesterday; You can relax at the Innovative State-of-the-Art Store with a Book and a Steaming Bowl of Delicious Soup created by the legendary Benny Masekwameng. Besides, reading a book with a cup of tea or coffee is 'Sooo Last Season' ...

It is definitely my Favourite Book Shop in SA — I love Browsing through Book stores in general, but Skoobs is an Experience that I just can't get enough of! I can wander around there for hours, making sure to either get a delicious Latte ... or if I feel like spoiling myself after a long week, a glass of Champagne, and now with their Soups at Skoobs Promotion, I hope Skoobs will be organising a Bed for me to stay in, so I'll never have to leave!

Chef Benny, who is the Masterchef SA Judge and Tsogo Sun Executive Chef at the SunSquare Montecasino hotel’s MondoVino Restaurant has created 3 Delectable Soups include Creamy Potato and Leek Soup with Blue Cheese; Lamb Shin and Lentil; and Minestrone — all with his unique Flair for Flavours.

He notes, “The selection of soups ensures there is something for everyone, whatever your preference. All are Hot and Hearty and will satisfy your appetite while the wonderful selection of books in Skoobs will satisfy your soul. To me it is the perfect way to while away the hours on a cold winter’s day.”

I don't know what you're doing this weekend, but I'll definitely be going back to Skoobs for another bowl of Soup and a Good Book, the vibe is just Amazing!
