Neighbourgoods Market

Today I ventured out to the Neighbourgoods Market in Braamfontein, Johannesburg and I must say I am Absolutely Amazed  ...
The market runs every saturday, come rain or shine from 9:00 – 15:00. There is a calender of special events throughout the year as well.

What's the Vibe Like?
The Atmosphere is rather relaxed mixed with a pinch of festivity, a splash of trendy attire, and a touch of Awesomeness ... be prepared to witness the extraordinary. I even bumped into Danny and Dylan from the the Kongos (read more about them in my previous post)

The 'Hustle and Bustle' at the Market Today
What's there to see?
There are many little stalls from Food and Fresh Produce to a small selection of clothing and jewellery.

What's there to Eat?

My tip would be to come hungry! The moment you step into the market, your nostrils are invaded by the scrumptious smells. We settled for a delicious pizza from Simply Italian which had Parma Ham, Rocket, Artichoke and Parmesan Cheese Shavings drizzled with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar "Magnifique!"

A few Tips:
  • Come Hungry (I reiterate this because the food selection is broad and extremely delicious)
