The Loin Cloth & Ashes Show on Saturday Night at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Jo'burg was very on trend with International Fashion...
The Show opened with 5fm's Poppy Ntshongwana, making her way down the runway. The Collection, titled "Alma" (pronounced "Al-mah"), meaning "The Soul", is named after the Head Designer's, Anisa Mpungwe's, younger sister and Muse.

Exuberant, Disciplined, Optimistic, Vibrant, Mysterious and Powerful — Anisa continues in her quest to reveal "The Soul" of the Loin Cloth & Ashes (L.C.A) Lady.

The collection lived up to L.C.A's focus: giving woman an alternative to the LBD. The Dresses Shown were for women who 'Dare to be Different'; who wants to look smart and casual (or both) but with a kick of Quirk, Maturity and Sophistication.

I personally loved the Eccentric Printed Collars that added a dash of pizazz to the already lovely dresses. The use of African Prints was very tasteful and authentic and there was a good balance between the solids and the prints.

Finally, just as we thought the show was coming to an end, 5fm's Anele Mdoda, was announced as The Face of Loin Cloth and Ashes and came walking down the runway with Utter Sass — What a Woman!

This was one of my Favourite Ready-to-wear Collections, and I think will be the most wearble Collection amongst South African Women (especially now that Poppy and Anele, walked the runway at the show) ... My only desire: Where can I get my hands on those Adorable yet Stylish Collars!
